After dealing with EL tech support and customer retention nearly three times a week for the last month, a phone rep gave me the "secret" Earthlink expedited customer service number and PIN. If anyone wants it:
 
866.860.1053 - PIN is 3000.
 
I don't know if this works for everyone's account or if the PIN changes over time, but if you're tired of calling their normal 800 number and talking to a computer and THEN waiting on hold for ten minutes, this number could be a real time saver!

i tried it and im pretty sure the pin has been changed....
